Meeting of new Board Members

Hammock Community Center, Malacompra Road

After completion of the annual meeting of Hammock Beach Estates Home Owners Assoc. the newly elected officers for the year 2007 held a brief meeting to discuss offices of the new board, possible agenda for the next meeting and date for the next meeting.

After discussing the duties of the positions for the newly elected officers , Debbie Clark volunteered to become the vice president and Fred Black will be the treasurer. Paul Zacharias will continue as President, Peggy Steele will continue as Secretary and Joe Bowen will continue as Operations Coordinator.

The next scheduled meeting will be held on January 11, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. The dates and times for future meetings will be determined at the January meeting. It is possible that additional meetings of the membership will also be scheduled. At the next meeting, the Board will also discuss and vote on the by-law amendment to eliminate the "betterments" account.

At its next meeting the Board will also discuss on how it intends to implement the three major projects on the agenda for 2007:

1. Pool area beautification

2. C&R review

3. Record management

The next meeting will be January 11, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. the Community Center and everyone is invited to attend.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 p.m.
