I(we) authorize the HBEHOA Board of Directors to enter into all contracts and agreements necessary to construct during 2006 a Pavilion on the common grounds next to the community pool, and agree to the obligation to pay a special assessment to cover construction costs, provided that
· The Pavilion is constructed and furnished consistent with the descriptions provided to the membership, unless the Board determines that changes are necessary to meet building code or other professional standards.
· The Board makes a legitimate effort to obtain at least three contractor bids and selects the contractor that it determines to be the best value to the association considering price, workmanship, warranties, and any other relevant conditions.
· The special assessment does not exceed $250 per lot when paid as a lump sum.
I(we) recognize that beginning in 2007, the annual membership assessment will need to take into consideration additional operating expenses (such as insurance, taxes, and electricity) and periodic maintenance related to the Pavilion. .
